October 25, 2010 Rolando Pujol, in his article "Designed Locally, Felt Globally," highlights Poets House as a key New York project of the year. As part of the subterranean exhibit in the Greenwich Village subway station sponsored by the AIA New York Chapter, Poets House was highlighted along with our work on the Centro de Artes Nadir Afonso in Portugal. Rick Bell, the executive director of the AIA, noted about our work that "Even a small city firm can have a global impact."

October 15th, 2010 Festival Motto – "The Necessary: Not the New, not the Old, but the Necessary." Vladimir Tatlin – 125 years The annual "Zodchestvo&qunt; architectural festival, arranged by the Union of Architects of Russia, is an event of national scale. It provides a unique venue for an overview of the contemporary state of architecture and town planning in both Russia and the world. The festival also contains an exhibition of international work, including our project, Poets House. We are proud to be one of the twenty New York architectural firms whose work has been selected to be included in this noteworthy exhibit.

Louise Braverman’s drawings and words are displayed in an exhibition and video comprising a “Visual and Oral History of James Stirling’s Teaching at Yale”

October 13th, 2010 Opening on October 13th "An Architect's Legacy: James Stirling&apos's Students at Yale, 1959–1983," offers a rare glimpse of a towering figure of 20th-century architecture through the prism of his former students' work. Louise Braverman's drawings were selected by curator Emmanuel Petit to be included among architectural drawings by some 70 YSA alumni who studied with Stirling when he taught at Yale as the Davenport Visiting Professor of Design. She is also profiled on a video documentary that accompanies the show that constitutes an oral history of Stirling's teaching. The exhibit is on view until February 11, 2011 and will run concurrently from October 14, 2010 to January 2, 2011, with another Stirling retrospective, "Notes from the Archive: James Frazer Stirling, Architect, and Teacher," at the Yale Center for British Art.

October 10th, 2010 GOOD DESIGN was founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, to promote and foster a greater public understanding and acceptance for Modern Design. The new GREEN GOOD DESIGN Awards, sponsored by the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, and the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, aim to recognize outstanding individuals, companies, organizations, governments, and institutions-together with their products, services, programs, ideas, and concepts that have forwarded exceptional thinking and inspired greater progress toward a healthier and more sustainable universe. We are thrilled that our design for Centro de Artes Nadir Afonso was selected to be a winner of such an important award with such an illustrious history.

October 8th, 2010 MADE IN NEW YORK, an exhibition displaying of-the-moment architecture presented by the AIA New York Chapter opened at the West 4th Street Subway Station. The exhibit is part of Architecture Week 2010, an annual event celebrating the best of architecture and design hosted by the Center for Architecture, Our projects, Centro de Artes Nadir Afonso and Poets House, are featured in this exciting exhibit.
